New Repertory Theatre
Opens At Arsenal Center For The Arts

New Repertory Theatre will open its inaugural season in the Arsenal Center for the Arts with "Romeo and Juliet."  Performance dates are September 18 through October 9.

The production is directed by Rick Lombardo, Producing Artistic Director, who commented, “This production celebrates everything about our new theatre – it's the perfect show to let us stretch our wings. It's also a show I've wanted to produce for years, because despite its Renaissance sensibilities, I believe it conveys a powerful message about contemporary life.  'Romeo and Juliet' demonstrates the tragic waste of a world given over to tribalism and feudal conflict, a world that sacrifices the best and the brightest of its youth to senseless conflict.” Lombardo is celebrating his tenth season as New Rep's Producing Artistic Director.
