Radio City Rockettes
To Kick High at The Wang
December 2 - 31

The world famous Radio City Rockettes will high kick their way into Boston with The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, scheduled for 60 performances at The Wang Theatre from December 2 - 31.

Sure to create new holiday memories, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular promises a dazzling production of dancing teddy bears, wooden soldiers come to life, flying reindeer, rapping elves and, of course, the dancing precision of the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes.

Those who may have enjoyed the production in New York should know that the Boston show will offer such classics as The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers and The Living Nativity in addition to new scenes and numbers including The 12 Days Of Christmas, a dynamic Rockettes tap number and Christmas In New York.

A decade ago, due to popular demand, Radio City Entertainment broadened the beloved holiday theatrical’s schedule for the first time to encompass markets outside of New York, while simultaneously running the New York production. Since then, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular has performed in such cities as Los Angeles, Seattle, Nashville, Chicago and Atlanta. In 2003, the show reached more than 2 million people.

Few people are aware that the dance company first kicked to life in 1925 as the Missouri Rockets, making their debut in St. Louis. In 1933, the Rockets performed at the opening night of New York's Radio City Music Hall (where they were dubbed "The Roxyettes") and have called the renowned venue home for more than 70 years.
