“Lion King” Tickets On Sale
Friday, November 21

Tickets for the long-awaited production of Disney’s “The Lion King,” coming to the newly restored Opera House, will go on sale at The Colonial Theatre Box Office on Friday, November 21, at 6 A.M.

Sales through Ticketmaster (phones, online and at all outlets) will begin at 9 A.M.
Opening night for the limited engagement at the Opera House is July 16, 2004.

The first 100 ticket buyers will receive a complimentary “Lion King” original cast recording CD. All others will receive a Lion King Winter Hat, while supplies last.

Now in its 7th sold-out year in new York at the New Amsterdam Theatre, “The Lion King” is the winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Director Julie Taymor was the first woman in Broadway history to win the Tony for Best Director of a Musical.

The Boston engagement of “The Lion King” is presented by Broadway in Boston and is a subscription offering of the Lexus Boston Area Dealers Broadway in Boston Series.

The Opera House ia a Broadway in Boston/Clear Channel Entertainment venue.
