Scooby-Doo in Stagefright

Hanna-Barbera Favorites Come To The Wang

Following its highly successful tour last year and the summer run of the blockbuster movie hit, "Scooby-Doo," "Scooby-Doo in Stagefright -- Live On Stage" is returning to The Wang Theatre, February 4 through 9.

The chicken-hearted Great Dane will once again team up with his friends, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred, to solve a classic Scooby-Doo style mystery. The show takes the form of a “long lost episode” of the long-running animated TV series in which Scooby and his pals solve the mystery of a supernatural specter wrecking havoc at the old Clawhammer movie studios.

With perplexing puzzles, an abundance of Scooby Snacks and magical special effects, the stage production is written and directed by Jim Millan, founder of Toronto’s Crow’s Theatre. Millan has produced and directed more than 35 original works and numerous tours in Canada, the United States and abroad, including the recent “Kids in the Hall Tour 2002.”

All new episodes of “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” can be seen on Kids’ WB! every Saturday morning at 8:30 a,.m. Classic Scooby-Doo cartoons can also be seen very day on The Cartoon Network as well as Kids’ WB!

For information, supress that Zoinks! and just call 1-800-447-7400. Tickets are also available at The Wang box office at 270 Tremont Street.
